Ramadan is a month of generosity and kindness, as many of our blog contributors pointed out. It is a month when we share on blessings and prosperity with the underprivileged. Encouraged by our contributors, Wataniya has undertaken several initiatives to help the poor and the needy during the holy month of Ramadan.

As you all know, Somalia is facing one of the worst famines of the decade, thousands are starving and hundreds of families are forced to leave their homes and villages in search of food and water.
